The Mini-Jacker is the only safe and effective means for attaching a long-shaft outboard to a boat transom designed for a short shaft. What the Mini-Jacker does is raise the height of the outboard so that the prop rides higher in the water. The result is an efficient ride precisely equivalent to that achieved by the prescribed short shaft outboard. The Mini-Jacker is built like a tank. It is made of aircraft aluminum, resistant to rust and nearly indestructible. The Mini-Jacker is an offset type jack plate designed for clamp-on style outboard motors up to 40 HP. The Mini-Jacker not only ensures a safe motor mounting but it also improves the performance and handling of smaller or lighter boats.
The Mini-Jacker could not be easier to attach to your boat. It is mounted to your transom via 4 bolts (not included) and can accommodate many bolt configurations. After you bolt the Mini-Jacker to your transom, simply clamp or bolted your long-shaft outboard directly to the motor mount on the Mini-Jacker . The Mini-Jacker stands 4" off your transom. The Mini-Jacker 's engine mounting surface is 11-1/2"Wx10"H and features a vertical offset of 3". The overall width of the transom mounting flange is 17". |
